How well do you know your Bible?

I found out this week that I don't know it as well as I thought... A friend posted this on her FB wall.

When I saw it, I knew which ones to eliminate, but the one left - I didn't know it was really in the Bible.

And then someone posted the verse that confirmed it - and I admit I was shocked.

A friend and I were discussing it later. We also talked about convictions. It was great to talk about how we have so much to learn and that we cannot rely on everything we have been taught as being "Truth."

So many of us think we know the Bible. So many of us rely on what we have been taught from others. We must come to the realization that we all have a lot to learn. I definitely do not have all the answers.

We cannot be afraid to ask questions. We cannot assume that because someone has a "degree" they have the answers. Ask God yourself to reveal HIS Truth to you.

Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened...

Enter 2023 with the resolve in you to ASK questions. Don't be afraid to discuss with others.
