You SEEK for ME...
Today’s verse is from Jeremiah. I like this book. In fact, I have come to enjoy reading the prophets. There is so much encouragement, but also exhortation. Lots to process!
The YouVersion Bible App on my phone popped up with this verse today. Jeremiah 29:13
When you seek me, you will find me, provided you seek for me wholeheartedly; (CJB)
I believe we have all heard the first part of this verse, “when you seek me, you will find me…” Pretty common!
Once again, there is a condition in this verse.
In order to find HIM, “you seek for me WHOLEHEARTEDLY.”
In order to find HIM, WE MUST do something! Yes, God does make it clear that we have things to do. Remember, FAITH without WORKS is dead.
It takes FAITH to believe and accept that HE is WHO HE says HE IS.
It takes works to keep a relationship with HIM.
Take time today to SEEK HIM with ALL your heart.
Praise Him. Thank Him. Sing songs to Him. Read His Word. Pray to Him. Stop and LISTEN for His voice.
These are all actions that YOU, as a child of the most High God can do to establish a stronger relationship with your Creator.
If you can do them with your friends in the natural here on earth, how much more should you do it with your Father who created you!
